Cowboys Leagues Club raises $10K for Pancare
The Cowboys Leagues Club proudly supported Pancare Foundation throughout the month of January 2026, reaching $10,000 in donations that will help raise vital awareness and funds for Australians affected by upper gastrointestinal cancers.
The inspiration for the mammoth fundraising event was one of our valued members, Malcolm Stephens, who had been living with pancreatic cancer, and has since sadly passed away. Malcolm’s story and courageous spirit resonated deeply with our team and members.
Funds were raised through a range of in-club initiatives, including $1 from every Main Course and Char Grill meal sold from Match Restaurant & Grill, proceeds from two special editions of popular club events Raffle Riot and Dollar Dogs as well as donation boxes located throughout the Club. Our members and guests also showed their support by purchasing Pancare merchandise – including pens, wristbands and ribbons.
Group General Manager: Licensed Venues and Projects, Clint Williams, said the Club’s community embraced the cause wholeheartedly.
“It’s been incredible to see how our staff, members, and guests rallied together in support of Malcolm and Pancare Foundation. Every meal, raffle ticket and wristband purchased helped fund research, awareness and support for Australians and families affected by pancreatic cancer.”
Cowboys Leagues Club are proud to support many local and national charities through various fundraising and events, reaching a milestone $13.8 million in donations since 2001 and making a difference in the lives of our members and the wider community.
